Jen About Page

Hi! I’m Jen,

Psychotherapist & Writer
Why did I became a therapist?

My own personal struggles, including surviving cancer(@age 19), dealing with substance abuse, and overcoming depression, led me to seek help for the emotional pain I was feeling.. The experience  of working with a skilled and caring professional psychotherapist made me want to do the same for others.

I Started in 2002 after getting my master's in social work  from NYU school of social work. Worked in different places like hospitals and clinics in NYC, had my own practice there, and now I'm fully remote.
